To be perfect honest, I don’t know that much about him. I know that was just starting out in the industry, especially in the past year. He even appeared on the cover of XXL Magazine for their “Freshman” issue alongside fellow rappers Playboi Carti and KYLE.

His music was marked both innovative and controversial. Spin penned him “the most controversial freshman (rapper)”; his “third wave emo” style in the inspiration of Kurt Corbain, Tupac Shakur, and Gorillaz. His first album, “17”, peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Then, his career seemed to show promise, as his most recent album, “?”, took the top spot on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Truly a man who showed promise and potential in an ever-changing industry.
When his music climbed the charts, so did questions regarding his personal life. He faced jail tome for the battery of his pregnant girlfriend in 2017. He allegedly through a cell phone at her during a heated argument. Then, while in prison, he also faced more time for beating up a gay cell mate for “staring” at him. Then there was the eerie “message” he posted on his Instagram stating that he wants to be know for touching the lives of “5 milllion kids”.
